Włodzimierz Nowak
Włodzimierz Nowak (born 1958 in Poznań ) is a Polish reporter , journalist and author .
Life
As a cultural scientist, Nowak headed the regional museum in Pszczew . Since 1993 he has been working as a journalist for the Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza and writes literary reports for the supplement "Duży Format". He lives in Poznań.
Nowak was awarded the German-Polish Journalist Prize in 2008 and, together with translator Joanna Manc, received the Georg Dehio Book Prize for his report collection Die Nacht von Wildenhagen , which had previously been on the nomination list for the Polish literature prize Nike .
