Life

Constable stated on its website that after graduating from high school in World War II, he drove for a year in the New Zealand Merchant Navy . This was followed by six years with the British Merchant Navy. In 1952 Constable immigrated to the USA, from where he drove another 26 years as a radio officer in the American merchant navy. During this time he drove for 14 years on the SS Maui of the Matson shipping company . On board the SS Maui , he said he carried out successful experiments on influencing the weather with a tube device according to Wilhelm Reich and according to the ether principles of Rudolf Steiner and Guenther Wachsmuth . In the 1980s and 1990s, Constable claims to have successfully reduced smog in Southern California with its ether devices .

Constable has been involved with UFOs since the 1950s and, according to himself , learned from George Van Tassel psychological contact with aliens who spoke through Van Tassel as a medium . "Later, [Constable] deeply regretted" having acquired this gift and needed the help of "clairvoyant Doctor" Franklin Thomas to stop the aliens "unwanted psychological intrusions" on themselves. In the 1950s, he used color film and special lenses to photograph large spots in the air, which he called plasmoidal air creatures, or “critters” for short. He later delved into radionics according to Ruth B. Drown .

Together with USAF officer Raymond F. Toliver , he wrote several popular books on the air war in World War II , in particular on " flying aces ". A review of the first joint book by Toliver / Constable ( Fighter aces from 1965) praises the factual correctness of the data collected despite the stories being tailored to the public's taste: "Since publishers seem convinced that only the" oh, gee whiz! "Approach to aviation history will sell, at least let their books be as well made as this one. ”Her book on Erich Hartmann ( The blond knight of Germany from 1970) became a bestseller in Germany; the motor book publisher brought out to 2007, 61 editions. The two historians Ronald M. Smelser and Edward J. Davies expect Contextless and heroic representation Hartmanns by Constable and Toliver to the attempts of the romanticizing and subsequent fraternization with the "hero" of the " Clean Wehrmacht ", which is now in the context of the Cold War on on the side of their western brothers in arms against the threat from the east. Due to the lack of sources and the influence of the officers shown on the presentation, these works are not historical representations, but an expression of pop culture .
