WW Shols

WW Shols , actually Winfried Scholz , (born August 31, 1925 in Bielefeld , † May 8, 1981 in Portugal ) was a German author.

Life

Scholz attended secondary and advanced school and graduated from high school . In 1942 he was drafted into the Navy. After returning from captivity, he was an active member of the Science Fiction Club Deutschland e. V. (SFCD) and wrote science fiction novels for various loan book publishers as well as crime novels for Erich Pabel Verlag.

He wrote four booklet novels for the German science fiction series Perry Rhodan . Through his work in the Bielefeld large printing company Gundlach in 1961, he had access to a Japanese telephone directory, which enabled him to send KH Scheer a list with the names of actually existing people who subsequently made literary history as members of the Mutant Corps.

Due to his professional situation, he was unable to write any further novels for the Perry Rhodan series, but always stayed in contact with the Perry Rhodan team and the fandom community . During a vacation in Portugal, WW Shols died unexpectedly for everyone.
