Wade Bell

Wade Bell ( Charles Wade Bell ; born January 3, 1945 in Ogden , Utah ) is a former American middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .

In 1967 he won the Pan American Games in Winnipeg , and in 1968 he was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Mexico City in the preliminary stages.

In 1967 and 1968 he was US champion over 880 yards and 800 m. In 1967 he also won the NCAA title over 880 yards for the University of Oregon .
