Vadim Sergejewitsch Berdnikow ( Russian Вадим Сергеевич Бердников ; born July 7, 1987 in Chelyabinsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Arlan Kökschetau since 2017 .
Career
Vadim Berdnikow began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the HK tractor Chelyabinsk , for whose second team he was active from 2003 in the third-rate Pervaya League . The 2005/06 season , however, ended the center at Barys Astana , for which he ran parallel in the Pervaya League and the Kazakh championship . From 2006 to 2008, the left shooter ran again for the HK tractor Chelyabinsk, for whose professional team he scored four goals in 62 games in the super league during this period and made eight assists. On the side, however, he continued to work for the second team of the HK tractor in the Pervaya League. The 2007/08 season of the Russian then ended at HK Dmitrov in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division.
For the 2008/09 season Berdnikow moved to Vitjas Chekhov , for which he went on goal hunting in the following year and a half in the newly founded Continental Hockey League . In January 2010 he was committed by Vitjas' league rivals Atlant Mytishchi , for whom he scored two goals in eight games by the end of the season. For the 2010/11 season he returned to Vitjas Chekhov and scored for this twelve goals in 53 games and made 16 templates. In November 2011, the Russian moved to HK Spartak Moscow before returning to his hometown club in May 2012. For tractor, however, he did not complete a single game, but left the club in August of the same year by mutual agreement and was signed by Severstal Tscherepowez . As a result, he completed over 230 KHL games for Sewerstal and scored over 70 points scorer.
After the 2015/16 season he did not receive a new contract with Severstal and therefore moved back to HK Spartak Moscow together with Anatoly Nikolajewitsch Nikonzew , where he received a one-year contract.
