Greek according to Manetho : Achtoes

Wahkare Cheti I. ( Wah-ka-Re Cheti ) was an ancient Egyptian king ( Pharaoh ) of the 9th Dynasty ( First Intermediate Period ).

Domination

It is questionable whether Akhtoes, who was the first ruler of the dynasty after Manetho , is identical with Wah-ka-Re-cheti. According to Manetho, he was very cruel, went insane and eventually eaten by a crocodile.

A coffin of the 12th dynasty , the Wah-ka-Re-cheti in the Coffin Texts called, was in Deir el-Bersha found. These texts may have been written for the ruler and later copied.
