The constituency of Savo-Karelia (constituency 09) is one of 13 Finnish constituencies for elections to the Finnish Parliament and the President of the Republic of Finland . It includes the Finnish landscapes of North Karelia and North Savo . In the parliamentary elections, each constituency is entitled to a certain number of seats in parliament based on the number of inhabitants, the constituency of Savo-Karelia currently has 16 seats.
The constituency was newly created for the 2015 parliamentary elections by merging the constituencies of North Savo and North Karelia .
