The Wake Valley is a valley in Queen Elizabeth Land, West Antarctica . In the Neptune Range of the Pensacola Mountains , it is the more northerly of two valleys on the northwest side of the Mount Hawkes massif . A narrow, east-west oriented mountain ridge separates it from an outlet glacier of the Iroquois Plateau .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2011. It is named after James Wake of the British Antarctic Survey , who worked as a field research assistant in the area from 2009 to 2010.
