Waldemar Abegg
Curt Wilhelm Waldemar Abegg (born June 14, 1873 in Berlin ; † July 17, 1961 in Blankenese ) was a German administrative lawyer and member of the DDP . Wilhelm Abegg , State Secretary in the Prussian Ministry of the Interior, and the chemist Richard Abegg were his brothers.
Life
Waldemar Abegg studied at the University of Strasbourg jurisprudence . In 1892 he became a member of the Corps Palatia . After passing the state law examination and subsequent legal traineeship, Abegg worked from 1909 to 1921 as a councilor at the regional council in Opole ( Upper Silesia ). 1921-28 he was a senior government councilor at the senior presidium of the province of Schleswig-Holstein .
In 1928 he was appointed regional president in Schleswig . In the course of the dismissal of the Prussian state government Braun-Severing ( Preußenschlag ), he was retired in autumn 1932 by the Papen government .
