description

The stream rises on the western slope of the Stöcherberg on the Velká louka ( Large Meadow ) in Studánka ( Schönborn ) in the Czech Republic. To the south of this is the headwaters of the Kirnitzsch . The forest river flows for a length of about one kilometer as a nameless stream through the Schönborn Forest to the northeast to the German border, which it reaches under the trunk road 9 to Rumburk . In the Seifhennersdorf district, the forest river valley runs through the meadows between the Frenzelsberg and Konradberg (formerly Schiefnerberg), where the stream feeds the Kappmichelsteich and the Grundmannsich. The brook flows in Seifhennersdorf under the Steindecker bridge on Wilhelm-Stolle-Weg and flows into the Mandau above the Mandau bridge between the Waldflussweg and the Mauerweg .
