The Walkenhorst Holding AG is a German automobile trading companies. It has existed since 1954 and operates eight car dealerships with locations in Melle , Ibbenbüren , Osnabrück , Gütersloh , Diepholz , Vechta and Cloppenburg . The core brands of the Walkenhorst Group are BMW , BMW i , BMW M , MINI and Alpina , whereby the group is one of the largest German BMW dealers. In 2006 the range was expanded to include the brands Renault , Dacia and Hyundai . In 2008 Nissan was added. In 2018 the Nissan brand was removed from the range again. As of July 31, 2019, the Renault and Dacia brands were temporarily sold and the location in Dammstrasse in Gütersloh was sold to the Mattern Group.

The former owner and senior partner Harro F. Walkenhorst died on June 11, 2017 after a short and serious illness at the age of 77.
