action
Sheriff Lincoln wakes up after 5 weeks from a coma and finds that the world has been hit by a zombie plague. Without further ado, he and his son team up with others still alive who bear the names of his favorite places (Green Bay, Chicago, Brooklyn and Harlem). In addition, the zombie Romeo was able to convince the group that he is not a zombie, but just a little slow. The group has to leave their camp at a mall to make their way to a supposedly safer place. They find shelter on a farm, which they defend against incoming individual zombies. A fence protects them from the great threat, but gradually the pressure of the pushing zombies becomes too great and they overcome the barrier. The group hears on the radio that a cure for the zombie plague has now been developed that is spread through drinking water and heals the infected upon contact. In the next big attack, the group does not defend itself with weapons, but with a jet of water.
background
The Walking Deceased - The Night of the Living Idiots is a film parody of the popular format The Walking Dead in the style of Scary Movie , with some references to Warm Bodies , Twilight and Zombieland . The story is based on the model, so Sheriff Lincoln wakes up like his serial counterpart Rick Grimes from a coma and slept through the beginning of the zombie pandemic. He repeatedly accidentally calls his son Chris Carl so that everyone understands that Carl Grimes is being made fun of here.
criticism
“Especially the character constellations of the show and its second season, which is particularly present here, theoretically provide material for a nice joke, […] [but] it's the kind of film parody that you either watch on your smartphone or in moments of absolute despair, because a crazy zombie is always there is even better than no zombie at all.
