Walo von Gruyeres (politician)
Walo von Greyerz (born June 10, 1898 in Bern ; † November 27, 1976 there ) was a Swiss lawyer and politician ( FDP ).
From 1923 von Greyerz worked as a lawyer in Geneva and from 1925 was a domestic editor at the Bernese Confederation . From 1933 to 1948 he worked on the radio chronicle Die Woche in the Bundeshaus . From 1943 to 1950 he was the FDP city councilor of Bern, from 1950 to 1955 Berner Grand Council , from 1955 to 1967 National Councilor .
Von Greyerz was a member of the Swiss Zofinger Association . He campaigned for the solution of the Jura question and civic education of youth.
