The Walporzheimer Kräuterberg is a single location in the German wine-growing region Ahr and is considered a good location in the municipality of Walporzheim . It is part of the large Klosterberg site in the Walporzheim / Ahrtal area . The herb mountain surrounds the top location Walporzheim fermentation chamber . The south to southeast aligned steep slopes on shale weathering ground with grauwacke and loam is almost exclusively with the grape Pinot Noir planted (percentage 90%). The vines are supplemented by five percent Dornfelder and five percent Müller-Thurgau . The blue Portuguese vine, which was still popular in the early 1970s, has completely disappeared.

About three hectares of the designated area are currently planted.
