Walter Buss

Walter Buss (born March 24, 1920 in Groß-Gerau ; † October 8, 2017 ) was a presiding judge at the Federal Social Court .

Life

Walter Buss was initially a judge at the Mannheim District Court , from where he was seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court as a research assistant . He became a judge at the State Social Court of Baden-Württemberg and finally a judge at the Federal Social Court. From August 1974 to April 1, 1988 he was chairman of the 11th Senate of the Federal Social Court , which was responsible for statutory pension insurance , agricultural old-age benefits and health insurance, as well as labor promotion law. Buss was a member of the coordination committee for the unification of public law court procedure laws, which had been formed by the Federal Ministry of Justice . On April 1, 1988, he retired.
