Walter Daugsch

Walter Daugsch (born June 27, 1950 in Wetter (Ruhr) ) is a German historian .

Life

After high school and military service, Daugsch studied history , Slavic studies and political science at the Ruhr University Bochum and the Free University of Berlin from 1970 to 1979 . He received his doctorate as Dr. phil. and went to the (later) Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf as a master's degree in 1980 . In addition to teaching, he devotes himself to the content and conceptual design of historical exhibitions , including on emigrants from Eastern Europe , Transylvania and the history of the Albertus University in Königsberg .
