Walter Güntner
Walter Güntner (born August 6, 1948 ) is a former German soccer player.
Career
For the 1972/73 season Güntner moved from city rivals Union Böckingen to the then regional league club VfR Heilbronn . In addition to players like Martin Kübler , Harry Griesbeck , Helmut Röhrig and Bernd Hoffmann , the lawn players achieved sixth place at the end of the season. A year later he qualified with Heilbronn for the newly created 2nd League South. After relegation at the end of the season, Güntner left the club and moved to SSV Reutlingen . He later played for SV Neckargerach , the amateurs of VfB Stuttgart and TSV Eltingen .
