Walter Stahlecker (Ministerial Director)

Walter Stahlecker (born July 12, 1889 in Ravensburg , † August 27, 1970 in Tübingen ) was a German lawyer and ministerial official.

Career

After studying law, Stahlecker began his professional career from 1922 to 1924 as a clerk at Oberamt Backnang . From 1924 to 1926 he worked as a councilor in the command of the Landjägercorps. In 1926 he took over the management of the Oberamt Balingen for three years . From 1929 to 1935 he was a member of the board of directors of the Ulm employment office as senior government member. In 1935 he moved to the Ministry of the Interior and in 1938 to the Ministry of Economics in Stuttgart. In 1945 he went to the Ministry of Economics in Württemberg-Hohenzollern as Ministerialrat and from 1951 to 1952 to the Ministry of Economics in Württemberg-Baden. After the establishment of the state of Baden-Württemberg, he became ministerial director and deputy minister at the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Stuttgart. In 1954 Walter Stahlecker retired.
