Walter Zeissner

Walter Zeißner (born June 22, 1928 in Wülfershausen , Karlstadt district ; † February 24, 2016 in Karlstadt ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Zeißner attended elementary school and the humanistic grammar school. During the 5th grade he was called up for the Reich Labor Service . After his release from captivity, he attended the agricultural school in Arnstein in Lower Franconia and a course at the farmers' school in Herrsching am Ammersee . He acquired the agricultural master's certificate. In 1961 the farm in Gambach was relocated .

In 1956 Zeißner became a member of the CSU. He was deputy CSU district chairman of Lower Franconia, long-time district councilor, city councilor of Karlstadt and first chairman of the association of agricultural college graduates in the district of Main-Spessart and in the district of Lower Franconia. From 1966 to 1986 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
