Walther Steiger (born December 6, 1881 in Ulm ; † November 7, 1943 there ) was a Swiss designer and automobile manufacturer.

The studied chemist came from a family of Swiss textile manufacturers (Steiger & Deschler GmbH, Ulm) and founded the machine factory Walther Steiger & Co. in Burgrieden near Laupheim in 1914. From 1920 to 1926 he manufactured the Steiger car developed by Paul Henze and himself there . From 1926 to 1934 he was technical director of the largest and most traditional automobile factory in Switzerland, the Martini company in Saint-Blaise on Lake Neuchâtel .
