Wanamakers, Pennsylvania
Wanamakers is an unincorporated community in Lehigh County , Pennsylvania, co-administered by Lynn Township .
Wanamakers was founded in 1791 by Philip Wanamaker. His son Christian Wanamaker ran a mill in the village.
A train station on the Berks County Railroad opened in 1874. Regular passenger traffic ended in 1949. The station is the terminus of the Wanamaker, Kempton and Southern Railroad museum railroad .

Wanamakers is on the north bank of Ontelaunee Creek . To the northeast of the village is Leaser Lake , south of the 331 m high Spitzberg Hill .
