Career

The musicians celebrated their greatest successes in the United States, while they had only minor successes in their homeland. In 1983 they were still under the band name Huang Chung on the BBC music show The Old Gray Whistle Test .

Wang Chung's most famous songs are Dance Hall Days (1984) and Everybody Have Fun Tonight (1986), in which the variation "Everybody Wang Chung Tonight" can be heard regularly . Dance Hall Days was able to place itself in the top 10 in Germany and Switzerland in spring 1984 . The song City of Angels from the 1985 album To Live and Die in LA was the template for the theme song by stern TV . Everybody Have Fun Tonight and Let's Go became top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.

On October 31, 2010, her song "Space Junk" was released in the pilot of the AMC series The Walking Dead (and can also be heard in the season 9 episode "What Comes After").

In 1995, guitarist and singer Jack Hues, together with keyboardist Tony Banks from the English rock group Genesis, brought the musical project Strictly Inc. onto the market.
