The coat of arms of La Rioja ( Spanish region ) is split in gold and red.

On the right the red Santiago cross on a green mountain accompanied by two red-rimmed silver scallops at the base of the cross; on the left a golden tinned tower with three further tin towers, the middle one is the higher one, standing on two brick bridge piers over a silver shield base with two blue waves. Everything is surrounded by a blue border with three (2: 1) golden lilies .

On the coat of arms a golden rests crown with central orb .
