The coat of arms of Ramsberg is the emblem of the former municipality of Ramsberg , a current part of the market town of Pleinfeld in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

history

On June 24, 1965, the municipality of Ramsberg received approval for the use of the coat of arms from the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior ; the resolution was signed by Interior Minister Heinrich Junker . The bishop's staff in the coat of arms goes back to the fiefs of the bishops of Regensburg and Eichstätt in Ramsberg. The black pointed oval with a protruding cross on the side goes back to the Ramsperger noble family .
