history

When Döckingen , Ursheim and Trendel were incorporated into Polsingen in 1978 , it was decided to give the Polsingen community a new coat of arms. The coat of arms indicates the history of the districts. The St. Andrew's Cross, which is reminiscent of the Lords of Oettingen , comes from the Trendel coat of arms. The dog's head was part of the family coat of arms of the Polsingen lords of See. The crossing of silver and black comes from the margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach , who had the basic rights in Döckingen, Polsingen and Ursheim.
