history
The Eisenhutfeh comes from the coat of arms of the marshals von Pappenheim , who ruled Langenaltheim from 1541 to 1806. The stars are from the coat of arms of the Mörnsheimer . The colors silver and red point to the Hochstift Eichstätt . The numerous quarries in Langenaltheim are considered a local peculiarity, which are documented by the two-pointed hammer as a stone carving tool. The coat of arms was introduced on April 27, 1971 by a resolution of the municipal council with the consent of the government of Middle Franconia .
