coat of arms

Coat of arms of the municipality of Polsingen
Blazon : "Above a silver shield base, inside a continuous red St. Andrew's cross, split, in front a silver male body with a gold chain collar, in the back quartered with silver and black."
Justification of the coat of arms: The coat of arms uses components of the coats of arms of its districts and thus also points to the local history: The St. Andrew's cross stands for the Counts of Oettingen , who ruled in the Trendel district, while the dog's head refers to the Polsinger Lords of See. The black and white crossing points to the former reign of the Margraviate of Brandenburg-Ansbach.
