Warth is a district of the city of Hennef (Sieg) in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Warth is no longer shown separately in the statistics of the city of Hennef.

The former village lies at a height of 80 meters above sea ​​level in the districts of Geistingen (western part) and Striefen (eastern part).

history

In Warth at least from 1622 to 1755 there was a post office of the Imperial Post Office operated by the (Thurn und) Taxis , which was located in the listed three - gabled house . The Liebfrauen parish church was built in 1906 and replaced the St. Nepomuk chapel, which existed until 1907 .

Until 1935, Warth belonged to the Geistingen community . On August 10, 1935, Warth was assigned to Geistingen by the High Presidium of the Rhine Province of Hennef.
