Wartislaw (II.) Swantiboriz, from the family tree of the Griffins by Cornelius Krommeny , 1598.

Wartislaw Swantiboricz († 1196 ), also Wartislaw Swantiboriz , Wartislaw II of Stettin or Wartislav the Younger , was castellan of Stettin . As a member of a branch line, the Swantiboriden , he was related to the Greifenhaus ruling in Pomerania .

Wartislaw is the only known son of Swantibor , an otherwise unspecified Pomeranian prince.

At the beginning of the 1170s, Wartislaw is said to have handed over the Stettin Castle, which was besieged by the Danes under King Waldemar I, after negotiations. In 1173 he founded the Kolbatz Monastery .

After the death of Duke Bogislaw I of Pomerania, he and the Dowager Duchess Anastasia assumed the guardianship of the underage dukes Bogislaw II and Casimir II. This guardianship is an important indication of his suspected relationship with the Greifenhaus. He was commissioned to work with the Danish King Canute VI. to seek the renewal of the feud. However, during his reign there was an uprising against Danish rule. Finally Knut VI continued. him in 1189 and appointed the Rügen prince Jaromar I as guardian of the young dukes. Wartislaw then withdrew from the public. From the later years only the year of his death, 1196, is recorded in the records of the Kolbatzer monastery.

Two sons are known as his descendants:

It is disputed whether Bishop Konrad II of Cammin († around 1233) was a son of Wartislaw.
