Varvariwka ( Ukrainian Варварівка ; Russian Варваровка Warwarowka ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 1900 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1709, another source mentions 1760 as the year of foundation, is the only place of the 82.151 km² district council of the same name in the north of Karliwka Rajon .
Varwariwka is located at an altitude of 97 m on the bank of the Ortschyk ( Орчик ), a 108 km long right tributary of the Oril , 16 km north of the Karlivka district center and 59 km east of the Poltava oblast center .
