Warwick is a district in the county of Warwickshire in England . The administrative seat is the city of Royal Leamington Spa . Other important places are the city of Warwick and Bishop's Tachbrook , Budbrooke , Cubbington , Kenilworth , Lapworth , Radford Semele and Whitnash .
The district was formed on April 1, 1974 and was formed from the merger of the municipal boroughs Leamington Spa and Warwick, the Urban District Kenilworth and the Rural District Warwick.
