The small work (80 p.) Is a poetry by Goethe on the occasion of the opening of the theater in Bad Lauchstädt . The mythological plot of the one-act play should get the audience in the mood for the theater event. The prelude contains the sentence that comes from the 1800 Goethe sonnet "Nature and Art":
