Wassil Tschorbadschiew ( Bulgarian Васил Чорбаджиев , English transcription Vasil Chorbadzhiev; born December 21, 1990 ) is a Bulgarian biathlete .

Wassil Tschorbadschiew made his international debut at the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2008 in Bansko , where he finished 27th in the sprint with three shooting errors and 24th in the mass start race with seven errors. Other international assignments followed from the 2008-09 season in the IBU Cup . There he contested his first race in an individual in Obertilliach and reached 107th place. At the next stop in the racing series in Martell , he placed 94th of a sprint in the top 100 for the first time. Shortly afterwards, he won first points in Osrblie as 39th of a sprint. In Bansko, with 15th place in the sprint, he not only won points for the first time, but also achieved his best placement in the IBU Cup as ninth in the pursuit. The following year, the Bulgarian started at the 2010 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Torsby and was there 24th in the individual, 60th in the sprint and 13th in the relay. In 2011 , the Junior World Championships followed in Nové Město na Moravě , in which Chorbadschiew came in 40th in the individual, 75th in the sprint and 15th in the relay race. Then he started in the junior races of the European Biathlon Championships 2011 in Ridnaun . In South Tyrol he reached the positions 31 in the individual, 44 in the sprint and 41 in the pursuit.
