Wassyliwka ( Ukrainian Василівка ; Russian Василевка Wassilewka ) is a village on the left bank of the Inhulez in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast Mykolaiv with about 820 inhabitants (2001).
The village, which was founded in the 1780s, was until the municipal reform in the 2010s the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the east of Snihuriwka Raion , which also includes the villages of Yevhenivka ( Євгенівка , ⊙ ) with about 1150 inhabitants and Pavlo -Marjaniwka ( Павло-Мар 'янівка , ⊙ ), where the Wyssun flows into the Inhulez, with about 560 inhabitants. Since then the village has been part of the territorial community of the city of Snihuriwka.
The village is located north of the village of Pavlivka at an altitude of 11 m , 4 km east of the municipality and district center Snihuriwka and 73 km east of the Oblast center Mykolaiv .
