Guilain Désiré Wato Kuaté , short Wato Kuaté (born September 19, 1995 ) is a Cameroonian - Portuguese football player .

Career

Kuaté moved to Portugal with his family very early and began his youth career at the União Leiria club . Due to his good performances, Manchester City scouts noticed him, so he moved to England in 2011.

After one season he was loaned to Strømsgodset IF in Norway for one season . After his return to the U-18 from Manchester City, he signed a contract there until 2016. However, due to various disagreements, he dissolved his contract.

In the 2013/14 winter break, Kuaté took part in the training camp of the Turkish first division club Akhisar Belediyespor in Antalya . After a one-week trial training session including a few friendly matches, he signed a contract on January 20, 2014 until June 2017. He made his professional debut in the away game on March 9, 2014 against Galatasaray Istanbul , when he came on for Sertan Vardar in the 53rd minute of the game . After a year he left this club again.
