Sertan Vardar (born March 13, 1982 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player.
Career
Club career
Sertan Vardar started with his twin brother Sercan Vardar with the club football in the youth of Bucaspor . In the summer of 2000 he received a professional contract here and was accepted into the professional team. Here he made the leap into the regular formation straight away. After he was continuously active here for three and a half seasons, he switched to city rivals and second division club Altay Izmir in spring 2005 . With this club he missed promotion to the Süper Lig in the last game at the end of the 2005/06 season .
He spent the 2006/07 season at the second division Mardinspor and moved to the league rivals Boluspor after this season . With this club they reached the play-offs of the TFF 1st Lig twice in a row and only missed promotion to the Süper Lig at the last moment .
For the 2009/10 season Vardar moved to the second division Kardemir Karabükspor . Here you reached the championship of the TFF 1st Lig and thus direct promotion to the Süper Lig .
Despite this success, Vardar was told that they were not planning with him for the coming season. So he left the club and hired the second division club Kayseri Erciyesspor . After half a season he moved within the league to Çaykur Rizespor .
At the end of the season he left Rizespor and moved to the second division Akhisar Belediyespor . Here one completely surprisingly reached the championship of the TFF 1st Lig and thus the direct promotion to the Süper Lig . With his eleven goals this season, he was the team's top scorer and played a key role in this success.
After two first division years for Akhisar Belediyespor Vardar separated from this club and moved to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . After only half a season he returned to Akhisar Belediyespor. At the end of the season, he prematurely terminated his contract with his club, which was valid until summer 2016, and left this club again.
