Joel Camargo (born September 18, 1946 in Santos , † May 23, 2014 ibid) was a Brazilian football player.
Career
The defender moved to Paris Saint-Germain in Europe in the 1970s , for which he only played two games. Between 1964 and 1970 he played for the Brazilian national soccer team . His statistics show 28 stakes, to which ten unofficial games are added.
The 1970 World Cup in Mexico was the highlight of his career. Brazil won all qualifying and final round matches and became world champions with ease. In 1973 Joel Camargo, who was occasionally known as Joel , ended his career.
He died of kidney failure on May 23, 2014 .
