Wayne Fuller

Wayne Arthur Fuller (born June 15, 1931 in Brooks or Corning , Iowa , United States ) is an American statistician .

Live and act

Wayne Fuller was born to Loren Boyd Fuller and Elva Glady. Darrah born. He studied agricultural economics at Iowa State University , where he received his BS in 1955 and his MS in 1957, where he received his Ph.D. PhD . He stayed at Iowa State University, where he was Assistant Professor (1959-1962), Associate Professor (1962-1966), Professor of Statistics and Economics (1966-1983) and Distinguished Professor of Statistics and Economics (1983-2001). In 2001 he retired . Visiting professorships took him to the University of Southampton in 1982 and 1991 and to the University of New England in 1994. In addition to his career as a university lecturer, he also worked as a consultant .

Fuller works in the field of econometrics and time series analysis and survey sampling, measurement errors and estimates in economics. With David Dickey he developed the Dickey-Fuller test .

In 1956 he married Evelyn Rose Steinford, with whom he has two sons.
