Wayne Jackson (born June 23, 1971 in Manchester , Great Britain ) is a Berlin based singer, producer and songwriter.

Life

Earlier in his career was Jackson frontman of UK - folk-rock band The Dostoyevsky , which at Go! Discs was under contract. Together they released some EPs and an album called Orange . Jackson released the single The Other Side with Paul van Dyk in 2005 . He was also featured as a guest singer on Van Dyks 2007 album In Between with the song Stormy Skies . Together with Olsen Involtini he appeared as one of the co-producers of Bela Bs 2,006 erschienenem album Bingo and published in 2009 album Code B on. He also accompanied Bela B. on his tours in 2006 and 2007 as the guitarist of his live band "Los Helmstedt". Wayne Jackson was also involved on the album of the same name , released on August 31, 2007 by Emigrate . Jackson's first solo album The Long Goodbye , which was produced by Michael Ilbert , was released on August 15, 2008. From mid-August to mid-September 2008, Jackson's song Shine On was used by the RTL television station as background music for all program trailers at the start of the 2008/09 television season . On November 13, 2009 Jackson's first single Hallelujah was released from the album Undercover Psycho, which was released on February 12, 2010 . In February 2010 he was on an Undercover Psycho tour. Duncan Townsend accompanied him as support . In May 2010 he played as a support on the Train tour . On July 9, 2010, the single Bad Romance , a cover version of the Lady Gaga hit, was released. In 2012 he formed a new band with Lula , The Dead Lovers .
