We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed is the second studio album by the Welsh indie pop band Los Campesinos! . It was released in the UK on October 27, 2008 by Wichita Recordings . It was released just 30 weeks after their debut album Hold on Now, Youngster… and contains ten completely new tracks. There were no single releases. The album was recorded in June 2008, within eleven days, with John Goodmanson in his Seattle studio.

The title of the song Between Erupting on Earth and on Exploding Sky is a reference to a line in the novel Time Quake of Kurt Vonnegut .

The song Miserabilia came in 94th place of the best songs of 2008 on Rolling Stone .

The band does not refer to We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed as their second, full album, but as a mini-album or an "EEP" (Extended EP ).

The album includes a bonus DVD with a 26 minute video of the band on tour. It also includes two pin buttons and a mini poster.
