history

The label was founded in 2000 by Dick Green and Mark Bowen. Green was the owner of Creation Records alongside Alan McGee until 1999 , and Bowen was the A&R manager . The first album to be released in England under Wichita Recordings was Bright Eyes second album "Fevers And Mirrors" in 2000 .
