Peter Bjorn and John are an indie pop rock group from Stockholm , Sweden, founded in 1999 .

The trio's most successful single is Young Folks with guest singer Victoria Bergsman from The Concretes ; it reached the UK UK Top 40 . The song is part of the soundtrack of film 21 and the series Grey's Anatomy . In Germany, this song was covered by Nena , Oliver Pocher and Stephan Remmler under the title Ich kann nix für das, and entered the top ten of the charts. It is also used as the title track in the comedy series Two Funny - Die Sketch Comedy .

Her song Second Chance is also used for the opener of the sitcom 2 Broke Girls .

Band history

Morén and Yttling started making music together during high school. They shared great interest in bands like The Stone Roses or Ride . Their first band broke up when they moved to Stockholm, where they met Eriksson in 1999 and founded Peter, Björn and John. They made a first, unsuccessful appearance on a boat in Stockholm. Lars Skoglund from the band Laakso supported the band during live performances with drums and bongos.

Peter, Björn and John supported Depeche Mode during their Tour of the Universe concerts.
