The Cribs are an indie rock band from Wakefield , West Yorkshire , England . The band consists of twins Gary and Ryan Jarman and their younger brother Ross Jarman.
history
The first album of the same name The Cribs was released on March 22, 2004 in Germany. The second album The New Fellas was released on June 20, 2005 and includes the single Hey Scenesters! , which also appeared in the US series OC, California . On September 21, 2007, the third album entitled Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever , which was produced by Franz-Ferdinand- Frontman Alex Kapranos in Vancouver , Canada and which includes the most famous single Men's Needs , was released. In August 2008, Johnny Marr ( Modest Mouse , The Smiths ) was confirmed as the second guitarist and full fourth member of the band. 2011 Marr left the band again. While the band has already celebrated some successes in Great Britain and is already well known in the USA, the level of awareness in Germany is still limited. In Germany the band was on tour as support for the Kaiser Chiefs and in 2007 they also played at Rock am Ring .
