Episode 1 - Moving into the villa (July 5th, 2012): The eight participants arrive one after the other in the "Finca Fiesta" and say hello. After complications with the room allocation and an afternoon at the pool, the party mile in Lloret will take place in the evening.

Episode 2 - The first day at work (July 12th, 2012): Emilio has his hair dyed blonde to impress Lory-Glory. Jerôme and Leo are hired by the self-proclaimed "King of Lloret", Don Francis, to bring customers to his shisha bar. The work of the two is rewarded with eight VIP passes for all discos in Lloret. In the evening, the eight use the passes to celebrate in the London . The next day, Emilio's alcohol consumption escalates and he vomits.

Episode 3 - bankruptcies, bad luck and perverse parties (July 19, 2012): Maikiboy, Emilio, Der Pole, and Jerôme work for Don Francis and clean the "Londoner" disco. At lunchtime Leo and Maikiboy drop their covers in a striptease by the pool. Maikiboy falls off the stairs shortly afterwards and is taken to the hospital. However, he has no major injuries and continues to celebrate with the others at a beach fiesta the next day.

Episode 4 - The Big Pool Party (July 26, 2012): The episode begins with the boys and girls playing pranks on each other: hanging bras on the flagpole or smearing Nutella on each other . This time Lory-Glory and Ling-Ling have to work for Don Francis: They have to prepare and serve the food in a chip shop. As a reward, there are all-inclusive passes for the "Londoner", where there is also a proper party in the evenings. Emilio knocks out a tooth at the pool and has to go to the dentist the next morning to get a replacement. Shortly afterwards, everyone goes to the beach together and invites other vacationers to a pool party. It was a great success, although towards the end the large number of visitors had to be scared away with a hose. Two girls spend the night at Emilio's and Maikiboy also got a blonde's cell phone number.

Episode 5 - The hot erotic shoot (August 2nd, 2012): The morning after the pool party, the huge mess in and outside of the pool must first be cleared up. For Emilio and the Pole, it's not done after that - they have to help out as entertainers at Don Francis in the Hotel Costa Brava . This time there is a professional photo shoot for the whole group as a reward. Maikiboy brings the blonde back her dress from the day before that she left wet in the "Finca Fiesta". The two stay in the hotel all day. Everyone is dressed up for the photo shoot by the pool and Leo even makes topless pictures to the delight of the boys . At the end of the day, Maikiboys legs are depilated by Bauer using cold wax strips.

Episode 6 - The Last Party in Lloret (August 9, 2012): The series finale begins with an upscale dinner. The boys and girls spend the evening separately. The next day Lory-Glory, Emilio, Leo and Bauer go bungee jumping. On the last day in Lloret, the troupe first celebrates Jerôme's birthday before heading to the metropolis for a final night of partying. The next morning, the eight people from Ruhrpott say goodbye and fly back to their respective hometowns.

reception

After the broadcast of the series, the city administration of Lloret de Mar complained to the producer Eyeworks Germany GmbH and to ProSieben. The Deputy Mayor Jordi Orobitg criticized the Catalan daily El Periódico de Catalunya for the fact that We Love Lloret "[...] [draws] a perverted and falsified picture of Lloret". The city has been trying for some time to get rid of its image as a proletarian drinking mecca. A spokesman for ProSieben replied to the allegations that "[the program] was a loving party documentary, and not a city portrait".

Reviews

The series met with mostly negative criticism and was described as "Germany's worst TV show". The reason given for the negative criticism was that the protagonists were "not suitable role models for young people" and that excessive alcohol consumption was presented as "cool". In particular, a scene in the second episode, The First Day of Work , was criticized in which the character Emilio vomits on himself . The Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg received several complaints about the program. The program was released from 4 p.m. and was therefore only allowed to be broadcast after 10 p.m. However, the episodes can be watched around the clock in the ProSieben media library. Upon request, ProSieben spokesman Christoph Körfer announced: "Like all formats of the station group, every single episode of We Love Lloret was subjected to a professional youth protection assessment, including with regard to content that could impair development."

Overall, the audience ratings for four out of six episodes were below the ProSieben station average.
