geography
Denneberg
The Denneberg (55 m) is a shield-like elevation south-east of Weese and has Ice Age origins. The Denneberg is an arable land and when tilling the soil, small, polished granites, pebbles and angular flint stones repeatedly come to the surface. The adjacent information board is located south-east of Dennenberg, at the Weeser ponds. The Weeser ponds are artificially created fishing ponds, which were originally swamp moor meadows below the Dennenberg.
