Wegensen is a district of the municipality of Halle in the Holzminden district in Lower Saxony .

The place is located in the Ith börde in the Weserbergland around 2 km north of Halle. The B 240 runs south 2 km away and the state road 588 passes on the eastern edge of the village. The Weser flows west 3 km away.
