Bremke is part of the municipality of Halle in the Holzminden district in Lower Saxony . The place has about 249 inhabitants.
location
The place is located in the Ith beading in Weserbergland on the L 588 5 km north of the hall. Between Bremke and Dohnsen , near the Ith, lies the headwaters of the Spüligbach , a right tributary of the Lenne .
history
The place name underwent only a small change from its first mention in 836 with Bredenbeke and Bredanbeke (Breitenbach) to around 1600 with Bremke .
On January 1, 1973, Bremke was incorporated into the community of Halle.

The L 588 runs through the village. The Hellenhagen glider airfield is located on the southern edge of Bremke .
Attractions
The Evangelical Church of St. Johannis is a simple, plastered quarry stone building with corner blocks . It is dated to 1779 and has a roof turret . The smaller than life-sized wooden figure "Mary with child on the crescent moon" probably dates from the beginning of the 16th century.
