Inntaler Höhenweg : A high-altitude pleasure tour in 6 daily stages , the Weidener Hütte is the destination of the 3rd stage.

At some mountain huts in Tyrol, Sherpas from Nepal learn what tourism is all about in order to later run lodges in their homeland. Since 2008, Nepalese people have been deployed at the Weidener Hütte during the main season as part of the “Sherpa Project” to gain experience.
