Santa Claus & Co. KG (original title: Le monde secret du Père-Noël , English title: The Secret World of Santa Claus ) is a 26-part animated series that has been shown for the first time since December 10, 1997 and annually since 2002 at Christmas time in German-speaking countries is shown on Super RTL .

content

The Santa Claus and his three elves Trixi, Jordi and Gilfi live at the North Pole and produce the "toy machine" toys for children, to then be distributed in time for Christmas.

But the evil Grantelbart and his assistant Gugor often stand in their way. They try with nasty plans to prevent Santa Claus from delivering all gifts on time. Fortunately, Santa has his three hardworking elves and the polar bear Balbo, who support him at all times.

Characters

  • Santa Claus is exactly as children imagine him to be: cozy, friendly and fair. He makes sure that all gifts arrive on time and also solves some of the children's problems. He is also strictly against violence and likes to eat a "Christmas cake".
  • Trixi is an elf. She is responsible for processing the wish lists, can fly, make herself invisible and understand and speak all languages (including "animal language").
  • Jordi is an elf. He always has new ideas for toys. In addition, Jordi can transform into any animal possible and knows a lot about technology and electronics.
  • Gilfi is another elf. At the beginning of the season he doesn't have any magical powers as he still has to earn them, but is irreplaceable for the Santa Claus team due to his hard work. In the last episode, Gilfi learns the ability to make things float.
  • Balbo is a polar bear. Although he is friendly, he is also quite clumsy and thus always triggers small disasters. Santa Claus took him in one day because he had lost his parents.
  • Grantelbart is Santa's opponent and neighbor. Again and again he tries to prevent him from doing his job. He always follows Santa Claus everywhere to spoil the tasks he has to do. He hates Christmas, but loves to play electric guitar and likes loud rock music. For his nasty deeds, he is regularly hit on the head or has to support Santa Claus with a job.
  • Gugor is a troll. He is Grantelbart's assistant and is often pushed around by him. That is why he is often sad and seeks help from Santa Claus and his elves. Still, he's often mean to them.
  • Rudolph, Donner and Blitz are Santa's three reindeer.
  • The penguins work in various functions for Santa Claus.
