The vineyard gazebo in the Jägerhofstraße 17a is in the district Niederlößnitz the Saxon town of Radebeul middle of the Historical Conservation Area Historical vineyard landscape Radebeul .

description

The vineyard house, which is now a listed building with a fence, stands on a quarry stone vineyard wall above the vineyards of Paradies and Auf den Berge , which slope down to the south , where the Goldschmidtvilla is located.

The square, plain plastered building has a side length of 4 meters each and a total height of 8.80 meters. The pavilion, which is covered by a high tent roof with shaped tiles, has two storeys and an entrance door because of its sloping northeast towards the street. Two flight of stairs lead to the vineyard house .

history

According to assumptions, the vineyard pavilion should date from around 1800. The building was put on record in May 1901 when the building owners Carl Georg Semper and Adolf Louis Eberhardt (the owners of the nearby “Zum Jägerhof” inn ) registered with the Saxon Fire Fund as a “massive pleasure house” ; the design came from the builder Adolf Neumann . As early as 1894, Semper had built the Goldschmidtvilla in the valley as a building contractor based on a Neumann design.
